Property owners who are 65 years of age or older as of March 1, 2024 may be eligible to receive the senior citizen exemption on county, town, and or school taxes. Find the application below or please call, write, or visit the Woodhull assessor for assistance: 607-458-5178 ext. 205, 1585 Academy St Woodhull, NY 14898. Thursdays 2-6 pm. Application are due March 1st. The senior citizen exemption is different from the STAR exemption and must be applied for separately.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Town of Woodhull, Steuben County has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Clerk at 1585 Academy Street where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Tuesday in May. The Tentative Roll is available on the town website at www.woodhullny.com and on the county website at http://www.steubencony.gov/347/Assessment-Rolls .
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll by appointment only. Call 607-458-5178 Ext #205 to set up an appointment.
May 2nd between the hours of 2 PM -6 PM
May 9th between the hours of 2 PM -6 PM
May 11th between the hours of 9 AM -1PM
May 16th between the hours of 4 PM - 8 PM
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, between the hours of 4 PM to 8 PM at Woodhull Town Hall Board Room, 1585 Academy Street in said town by appointment to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.
